Day 1: Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul Ataturk International airport, Meet our driver or guide according to your arrival time and private transfer to your hotel, Meet with your guide at the hotel around 8 PM and go out for a dinner and night out to get the feeling of magic Istanbul city, Overnight in Istanbul, [D]
 
Day 2: Istanbul (Old City)
You will first visit the Hippodrome, the social center of this Byzantine city, which was used as a horse racing track, Next you will visit the Blue Mosque, the Grand Mosque of the Ottomans for 3 centuries, followed by the Hagia Sophia, This extraordinary building served as an Eastern Orthodox cathedral and seat of the Patriarchate of Constantinople more than 7 centuries, After visiting the Underground Cistern of Yerebatan, you will have lunch nearby and rest with a Turkish coffee, enjoying the view of Hagia Sophia, After lunch, you will visit the Topkapi Palace, imperial palace of the Ottomans which reflects the splendor of the Ottoman Empire, Your tour will finish with a Turkish coffee on the terraces of the Palace, before you return to your hotel, Overnight in Istanbul, [B/L]
 
Day 3: Istanbul (Bosporus Cruise)
Your day will start with a stroll from the old city of Istanbul to the Golden Horn to catch a regular Bosporus cruise in between the Asian and European continents, For an hour and more, you will be floating through the real history channel, Big mansions located by the water will take you to the 19th Century of Istanbul and your return will give amazing opportunities to take pictures of the Old City of Istanbul, once capital to Byzantium and Ottoman empires, You will embark by the Spice market and stroll in and around the bazaar where the Spices from India were sold to the Ottoman merchants before they sailed to Europe, Spice market is now hosting several Turkish delight shops giving you the opportunity to taste various kinds of them and Turkish Viagra as well, Nearby the market, a hidden gem, Rustem pasha mosque is located housing the best examples of Ottoman tiles, making the Blue mosque jealous, Suleymaniye Mosque, which is built by the Grand Architect of the Ottomans to the most powerful Sultan; Soliman the Magnificent, will be visited before returning to your hotel, Overnight in Istanbul. Day 4: Istanbul, Gallipoli, Canakkale
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by your guide and driver for your 4-hour drive to Gallipoli, Gallipoli is the most dramatic battlefield of the First World War and more than 250,000 soldiers perished during the sea and land wars between the Allied forces and the Ottoman Empire, The courageous defense of the Ottoman soldiers who were led by Ataturk, founder of the Turkish Republic, changed the outcome of the First World War, The battlefields are very important for Turkish, Australian and New Zealand soldiers because of the incredible number of young soldiers these three nations lost in the Dardanelles, After visiting the memorials of the Anzac (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) soldiers, you will visit the Turkish Memorial and hear the tearful stories of the World War I, You will pass from Europe to Asia via a ferry journey and stay overnight in the attractive Canakkale city, [B]
 
Day 5: Canakkale, Troy, Assos, Pergamon
After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart with your guide and driver to the ancient city of Troy, where the legendary Trojan War took place, according to the Ancient Greek epic poem "The Illiad" by Homer, You may be able to hear the voices of Hector and Achilles daring each other as you wander the 12 archaeological levels of this ancient site, Then a one-hour drive will take you to Assos, which is located on top of a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea, Lesvos Island and the Dardanelles Strait, From the top of the ancient site of Assos, amazing views can be obtained from the Temple of Athena, This city has been very important since Aristotle opened his first school here, Aristotle became head of a group of philosophers, and together they made innovative observations on zoology and biology, When the Persians attacked Assos, King Hermias was caught and put to death, Aristotle fled to Macedonia, which was ruled by his friend King Philip II of Macedon, There, he tutored Philip's son, Alexander the Great, There is a modern statue of Aristotle at the town entrance, After lunch in Assos village by the water, we will drive to Pergamon which will take approximately 3 hours, Overnight in Pergamon, [B/L]
 
Day 6: Pergamon
After breakfast at the hotel will catch the cable car to the Acropolis of the ancient city of Pergamon, which means "the city on top of the hill", The palaces, important temples, theatre, arsenal and library are standing on the hill top, overlooking the modern Bergama city and the fertile plains which stretch to the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, The Temple of Zeus, which once stood in this magnificent city, is cited in the Bible as being "the throne of Satan", However, the city houses one the churches of Revelation which will be visited after strolling in the magical Acropolis, Serapis temple was built for the Egyptian water god but it was converted to a church in the early Christianity, One tower of this complex is still used by the residents of Bergama city as a mosque and you may have the opportunity to visit it unless it is occupied by the prayers, After lunch in the old town of Bergama city, we will drive to the Sanctuary of Asclepius, the god of health in Greek Mythology, This ancient hospital is the first place on earth where music and psychotherapy was used as alternative treatments to medicine, Overnight in Bergama, [B/L]      
    
Day 7: Pergamon, Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Kusadasi
You will be picked up relatively early this morning to explore two beautiful ancient cities and one natural park, Your first stop will be the Ancient City of Pamukkale – Hierapolis, The white travertines of Pamukkale is visible even from miles away which is going to amaze you before you enter the ancient city of Hierapolis, The city was built for the wife of Telephus, Hiera and was used as a thermal healing center by many civilizations ruled the area, The pool of Cleopatra located in the ancient site is named after Cleopatra who was the lover of the Roman Emperor Marcus Antonius, After visiting the Roman Baths, a walk over the white carbonate natural thermal pools will be the highlight of your day, Lunch will be taken in a restaurant nearby the ancient city and you will continue to Kusadasi town for overnight, Overnight in Kusadasi, [B/L]
 
Day 8: Kusadasi (Ephesus)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit one of the most important shrine of Anatolia; The House of Virgin Mary, She is believed to have spent her last days in here surrounded by the woods, After visiting the shrine, you will continue your journey with the Ancient City of Ephesus, The city was so big that city walls can be seen on the way down from the House of Jesus’ Mother, While walking from the city agora to the harbor agora, you will see the best examples of Hellenistic architecture, The Terrace houses is a must before finishing the trip by the Library of Celsus and the mighty theater of Ephesus, Artemis temple awaits you in the marshes which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, After visiting the Museum of Selcuk, you will be able to see most of the artefacts found from the temple of Artemis and the Ancient City of Ephesus, You will have your late lunch on the way to Sirince Village and be dropped there to relax after a long and tiring day underneath the warm Anatolian sun, Overnight in Kusadasi, [B/L]
 
Day 9: Kusadasi, Cappadocia
Breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Izmir airport for a flight to Cappadocia, Upon landing to Kayseri airport, you will start your 2 days of Cappadocia escape, After a 50-minute drive from Kayseri airport, you will arrive to the spectacular region of Cappadocia; the land of beautiful horses (according to its ancient Persian name), surreal landscapes, quaint stone villages and carved valleys strewn with vineyards and fruit orchards, Your first stop will be the Imagination Valley which is called 'Devrent' by the locals just to see the most interesting geological formations of the region - with pinnacles and animal shaped rocks naturally formed by wind and water, Your next stop is Monks Valley (Pasabag), which offers amazing formations of fairy chimneys in a lunar-like landscape, Lunch will be served in Avanos town, We will visit a local pottery workshop before check-in to our hotel, Overnight in Cappadocia, [B/L]
 
Day 10: Cappadocia
After breakfast, you will be visiting the Goreme Open Air museum, a UNESCO heritage site with 10th Century rock carved churches painted with late Byzantine frescoes, , On your way to Uchisar town, we will stop at a view point near Goreme Village, to take spectacular photos of the incredible, yet beautiful landscapes which are a result of volcanic activity, After lunch in Uchisar, we will visit another UNESCO heritage site in Cappadocia; Kaymakli Underground City, This complex tunnel and cave underground system will take you through the areas where well organized Cappadocians sought shelter and defense from any attack of their enemies, Overnight in Cappadocia, [B/L]
