Day 1 – Tue: Mexico City
Upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for accommodation.
Day 2- Wed: Mexico City, Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende
Early departure to Queretaro, 130 miles from Mexico City and capital of the state of Queretaro. A city of major importance during the Independence wars. We stop for a visit and continue to San Miguel de Allende, about 1-hour away.  Explore this colonial city with its beautiful mansions and its symbol: The Gothic style cathedral. Accommodation at the hotel. [B]
Day 3 – Thu: San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato
Morning departure to Dolores Hidalgo and Guanajuato, a short hour away. Admire the Basilica, the University; the picturesque historic center with its narrow colonial roads the underground streets (former riverbeds), the famous Callejón del Beso (The Alley of the Kiss) and enjoy a panoramic view from the El Pipila monument. Proceed to the hotel for accommodation. [B]
Day 4 – Fri: Guanajuato, Zacatecas
Depart for Zacatecas. Arrival and visit to the historical center and the Cathedral, one of the pearls of Mexican baroque architecture, built in rose stone during the XVIII century.  Visit the Plaza de Las Armas; the Cerro de la Bufa, a hill offering a fantastic panoramic view of the city, and the Mine of Edén. Continue to the hotel for accommodation. [B]
Day 5 – Sat: Zacatecas, Guadalajara
In the morning enjoy a scenic 4.5-hour drive to Guadalajara, named “The pearl of the Occident” for its beauty. Arrival and visit of the Tlaquepaque neighborhood, famous for manufacturing the finest handicrafts of the state. Visit the borough of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, once an independent village and now a part of the city, whose inhabitants are dedicated to the manufacture of glassblowing and a variety of arts and crafts. Here you can choose excellent souvenirs of your holiday.  Continue to the hotel for. [B]
Day 6 – Sun: Guadalajara
Today, visit of the historical center, including the Teatro Degollado, Palacio de Gobierno, Cathedral, Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres (monument to the illustrious men) and a panoramic visit of the Hospicio Cabañas. Departure to the “Tequila” region, home of the ancient and famous Mexican alcoholic drink. At the Tequila village enjoy a demonstration of the whole manufacturing process in one of the best Tequila distilleries. Return to Guadalajara for accommodation. [B]
Day 7 – Mon: Guadalajara, Pátzcuaro, Morelia
Morning departure to Pátzcuaro, stopping en route to visit the ranch of Vicente Fernandez (opening hours may vary). Continue driving to Patzcuaro to visit of the House of the Eleven Patios, the Basílica of Nuestra Señora de la Salud, Gertrudis Bocanegra Library, with its murals painted by Juan O’Gorman, and the typical market in the Don Vasco de Quiroga Plaza. In the afternoon we travel to Morelia, the gorgeous capital of the State of Michoacán for overnight. [B]
Day 8 – Tue: Morelia, Mexico City
In the morning we visit the cathedral, with its Baroque exterior and Neoclassic interior; the Plaza de Armas (Armory Plaza), Government Palace, Clavijero Palace and other interesting monuments. The tour continues to Mexico City, where we overnight. [B]
Day 9 – Wed: Mexico City, USA
Depending on your flight schedule, maybe some time for last shopping. At the appointed time you’ll be picked-up and transferred to the Mexico City International Airport to board your flight back home. [B]
