Day 1 – Tue: Mexico City
Upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for accommodation.
Day 2 – Wed: Mexico City, Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende
Early departure to Queretaro, 211km from Mexico City. Capital of the state of Queretaro and of major importance during the Independence wars. City visit followed by a 1-hour drive to San Miguel de Allende. Explore this colonial city with its beautiful mansions and its symbol - the Gothic style cathedral. Accommodation at the hotel or similar.
Day 3 – Thu: San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato
Morning departure to Dolores Hidalgo and continuation to Guanajuato, a 1-hour drive away. In the city admire the Basílica; the University; the picturesque historic center with its narrow colonial roads;,the underground streets (former riverbeds), the famous Callejón del Beso (The Alley of the Kiss) and enjoy a panoramic view from the El Pipila monument. Continue to your hotel for overnight. [B]
Day 4 – Fri: Guanajuato, Zacatecas
After breakfast we leave for Zacatecas to visit the historical center and the Cathedral, one of the pearls of Mexican baroque architecture, built in rose stone during the XVIII century. Also, visit the Plaza de Las Armas; Cerro de la Bufa Hill (that offers a fantastic panoramic view of the city) and the Mine of Edén a defunct silver mine that saw its glory during the 17th and 18th centuries. Overnight in Zacatecas. [B]
Day 5 – Sat: Zacatecas, Guadalajara
In the morning enjoy a scenic 4,5-hour drive to Guadalajara, named “The pearl of the Occident” for its beauty. Arrival and visit of the Tlaquepaque neighborhood famous for manufacturing the finest handicrafts of the state. This borough, once an independent village, is now a part of the city, and its inhabitants are dedicated to the manufacture of glassblowing and a variety of arts and crafts. This is the place to find excellent souvenirs of your holiday. Overnight in Guadalajara. [B]
Day 6 – Sun: Guadalajara
Today we visit of the historical center with accent on Teatro Degollado, Palacio de Gobierno, Cathedral, and Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres monument (Monument to illustrious men). Then, we take a panoramic tour of the Hospicio Cabañas. In the afternoon we depart for the “Tequila” region, home of the ancient and famous Mexican alcoholic drink. At the Tequila village enjoy a demonstration of the whole manufacturing process in one of the best Tequila distilleries. Return to Guadalajara for overnight. [B]
Day 7 – Mon: Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta
This morning we’ll board the deluxe bus coach that services Puerto Vallarta for 5-hour ride. On arrival you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Puerto Vallarta. [B]
Day 8 – Tue: Puerto Vallarta
Free day the Pacific Ocean by the swimming pool or on the beach. Soak in the sun, dive in the calm waters, and let yourself go! [B]
Day 9 – Wed: Puerto Vallarta, USA
Depending on your flight schedule, maybe some time for last shopping. At the appointed time you’ll be picked-up and transferred to the Cancun International Airport to board your flight back home. [B]
