Day 1: Lima
Upon arrival, reception by our representatives and transfer to hotel. Documentation kit, detailed program explanation and assistance with luggage and hotel check in. In the afternoon, visit the city to see its most important architectural icons such as the Plaza Mayor or Checkerboard of Pizarro, where we see the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and Archbishop's Palace. Continue to visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, jewel XVI century architecture. Road to the modern area of the city, cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, new financial heart of the city, to appreciate Huallamarca. Finally, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we visit the Parque del Amor, excellent spot to enjoy a splendid view of the Pacific Ocean. Drop off in Larcomar or hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Day 2: Lima, Cusco
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, reception by our representatives and transfer to hotel. Rest of the morning to rest and acclimatize. In the afternoon, visit the city of Cusco, declared World Heritage Site by Unesco and place of a particular essence. The tour begins in the temple of Koricancha, an ancient Inca palace and main center of worship of the god Sol, where after the Dominican order built a church that lies prized so far. Then he will tour the Plaza de Armas, where the Cathedral and the beautiful church of the Jesuits, among other colonial buildings are located. Continue the journey to the colonial church of San Cristobal to enjoy a spectacular view of the city, then continue to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Inca construction that stands out for its huge walls of hewn stone, located in a strategic position on a hill, with a broad view of the city of Cusco. Later you will visit important archaeological sites Puca Pucara and Qenko. [B]
Day 3: Cusco, Chinchero, Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley
Visit Chinchero, a small picturesque Andean village. Enter the home of a textile artisan, where you will see some of his original work and learn about their techniques, as well as their creative process. Then visit its significant Inca ruins dating from the end of the 15th Century, as well as a beautiful traditional church. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at the Racchi viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then head to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors' rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress and also a religious center. Finally, you will stop at the village of Ollantaytambo, known as "the only living Inca town". It is the best surviving example of Inca urban planning, with stone-paved streets that have been inhabited since the 12th Century. Overnight in Sacred Valley. [B/L]
Day 4: Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco
You will visit one of the most important energy centers in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion is done by train and during the tour we will have an amazing view of the landscape of the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, our staff will assist you to board the bus that will take you to the Citadel. It will be an unforgettable experience, where a professional guide will transmit us the history surrounding this mysterious and charming place. After the guided tour, you will enjoy free time to explore the area on your own, relax or meditate. When appropriate, descent to the town of Aguas Calientes. Included buffet-style lunch. In the afternoon, it will address the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, our partners will expect it at the station, from where we'll move to your hotel. Overnight in Cusco. [B/L]
Day 5: Cusco, Puerto Maldonado, Tambopata
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. On arrival, reception and transfer to the pier for departure by boat to the selected Lodge. If required, stop along the way for recent purchases of basic utensils. In the afternoon, arrival to the hotel and overnight. Possible activities will be indicated by the local guide, mainly walking and canoeing for observation of birds and mammals. Overnightat the hostel selected. [B/L/D]
Day 6: Tambopata
Possible activities will be indicated by the local guide, mainly walking and canoeing for observation of birds and mammals. Accommodation at the hotel selected. [B/L/D]
Day 7: Tambopata, Puerto Maldonado, Lima
Relax until the time of departure or coordination with its guide for the preparation of a possible optional activity, bird watching from a viewpoint natural or artificial is recommended. At the scheduled time, return canoe motor at Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Lima city. Arrival, reception by our representatives and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure, optional activities or do shopping in the Indian markets and exclusive jewelry or clothes made of vicuña and alpaca boutiques. Overnight in Lima.  [B]
Day 8: Lima, USA
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board international flight. [B]
