Day 1: Seoul
Upon arrival at Seoul international airport you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Day 2: Seoul (DMZ)
After breakfast, you will meet with our guide and start the tour. Transfer to Paju city for DMZ Tour. Upon arrival at Imjingak Park, take an Official shuttle bus to DMZ area. Visit Dora Observatory and station, and 3rd tunnel, bridge of freedom, briefing room. Lunch at local restaurant, and return to Seoul at around 14:30pm. Visit Gyeongbok palace and Seoul tower on Mt. Namsan for bird’s eye view of Seoul. Dinner at local restaurant with Korean style menu – Korean BBQ. [B/L/D]
Day 3: Seoul, Gyeongju
Breakfast at hotel before transfer to Seoul train station (train ticket will be delivered to your hotel). Upon arrival at the station, take a KTX express train to Gyeongju where you’ll meet your English-speaking local driving guide. This afternoon, take a tour of Gyeongju, including the Gyeongju National Museum exhibiting all kinds of relics dating from the Shilla Dynasty. Next visit is Tumuli Park (known as Daereungwon in Korean) that has more than 20 large and small tombs from the Shilla period. Most of the tombs here are presumed to be of the same type. On the way to the hotel, visit Cheomseongdae Astronomical Tower and make a last stop at the Donggung and Wolji pond for an evening view. Overnight in Gyeongju. [B]
Day 4: Gyeongju, Ulsan, Busan
After breakfast, check-out and start a morning city tour including Seokguram Grotto and Bulguksa Temple, both located on Toham Mountain. Seokguram Grotto, designated as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995, is an artificial stone temple made of granite. The construction was started by Kim Dae-Seong in 751 during and was finished twenty-four years later in 774, during the reign of King Hye-Gong. Inside the round-shaped main hall are the Bonjon Statue, Bodhi-sattva and his disciples. The rounded ceiling looks like a half-moon or a bow and has a lotus flower decorated cover on it. After the tour continue to Ulsan and visit Ulsan’s Daewangam Park, a seaside park located on Korea’s east coast. Follow a trail, a little over ½ mile, leading to the seashore after passing through a forest of pines, cherry trees, magnolias, camellias, apricots, and forsythia. The seaside is littered with weathered rocks carved into interesting shapes by the wind and ocean. When you reach Busan, you’ll check-in at your hotel for overnight. [B]
Day 5: Busan, Seoul
After breakfast, complete your tour of Busan going to Gwangan Grand Birdge and take a walking tour on the Igidae coastal path and Orukdo skywalk. Then, continue to downtown Busan, and visit Busan Tower on Mt. Yongdu for a scenic view of the harbor and downtown Busan. Finally visit Jagalchi Fishery Market where roadside vendors sell various fishes by the road side. After Busan tour, you leave Busan for Seoul by express train. On arrival in Seoul, you will be transferred to your hotel. [B]
Day 6: Seoul (Departure)
Breakfast at the hotel and some free time depending on your flight schedule. At the appointed time you’ll be picked-up and transferred to the airport to board a flight to your next destination. [B]
