Day 1: Lima
Arrival in Lima, meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Lima
The tour begins with a visit to historic downtown Lima, also known as “the City of the Kings”. Stops include the Main Square of Lima, upon which sits the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, and the City Hall; next on the itinerary is a visit to the Santo Domingo Convent. Once finished there, it’s off to the modern district of San Isidro where on the itinerary is a tour of Huaca Huallamarca, a Pre-Incan adobe pyramid; afterwards, you will head to Miraflores, a district filled with tourist attractions, and stop off at the “Parque del Amor” (a sort of lover’s lane) and its incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in Lima. [B]
Day 3: Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley
At schedule time transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco city. Upon arrival in Cusco one of our representatives will meet you and then you will be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Sacred Valley allows better acclimatization for its lower altitude compare to Cusco city. Rest of the day at leisure to rest and get use to the altitude. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in the Sacred Valley. [B]
Day 4: Sacred Valley
Discover the best of the Sacred Valley of the Incas through this route starting on the Inca's Balcony, a beautiful terrace with an impressive view of Chinchero, where twelves families still preserve their traditional costums, showing you the ancestral way in which they process the wool, and obtain those vivid colors for their textiles. Afterwards, we will get to Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire, one of the few places where the Spanish conquistadors lost a major battle. Very well known for its “andenes” (terraces dug into the slopes of mountains for agricultural purposes), Ollantaytambo was a highly effective fortress, which also served as a temple. Then, we will follow to the town of Ollantaytambo, “the unique living Inca town”: the best surviving example of Inca city planning, with narrow cobblestone streets that have been continuously inhabited since the 13th century. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in the Sacred Valley. [B/L]
Day 5: Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco
You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world: Machu Picchu. You will travel by train to the town of Aguas Calientes, an experience in which you will see the striking scenery of the Sacred Valley. Upon your arrival, you will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip. Once you have arrived at either the Ollantaytambo or Poroy Station, you will be driven to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in the Cusco. [B/L]
Day 6: Cusco
Tour of this incredible colonial city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You journey begins at Korikancha, the Temple of the Sun, to witness an ancient Inca palace and main center of worship of the god Sun. Next head to Cusco’s main square to visit the Cathedral to see its fabulous wood carvings and impressive altars and the lovely Church of La Compañia de Jesus (Society of Christ). Your next stop is at  Sacsayhuaman, a fortress located in a strategic spot high above the city with a view that is absolutely stunning. You will also visit some other archaeological complexes such as Kenko and Puca Pucara. Then back to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. [B]
Day 7: Cusco, Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, Puno
To get to Puno from Cusco, you will be taken from your hotel to the bus station to embark on a full day comfortable bus ride, a nice way of enjoying the beautiful setting that is southern Cusco. On the itinerary, your first stop will be at the village of Andahuaylillas, where you will see an architectural masterpiece: a 17th century church with finely crafted interior walls which will astound you. Back to the bus, your next visit   will be at the Incan archeological site of Raqchi, renowned for its massive temple to the god Viracocha. The final stop prior to your arrival, is at La Raya Pass, the natural border between the departments of Cusco and Puno. Upon arrival in Puno, our representative will be waiting for you at the station to take you to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in the Puno. [B/L]
Day 8:  Puno Taquile & Uros Islands
In the morning, we will make a one-day tour to Lake Titicaca and, as first stop, visit the floating islands of the Uros, also known as People of the Lake. These islands are built out of layers of totora and are used as housing and trade centers for the native Uros. They travel on handcrafted rafts. Next head to the Taquile Island, whose highest mountains are 11,500 feet. The culture on the island dates back to Pre-Incan times. The islanders still live according to the traditions and beliefs of their ancestors and are world renowned for their lovely outfits and incredible textiles. In fact, UNESCO has declared the textile art of Taquile Island as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. After sharing some time with the islanders and standing in awe of the lake setting, you will return to the city of Puno. Overnight at the hotel of your choice in Puno. [B/L]
Day 9: Puno, Copacabana, Sun Island
Trip by private transport from Puno with a wonderful view of Lake Titikaka along the route until Copacabana (3 ½ hours), a pleasant town on the lake shores. Visit to its church and the famous "Virgen Morena". Trip by boat crossing the Lake to the Island of the Sun (1 hour) until Huacani to have an Aptapi (typical lunch in the highlands), this trip continues by boat up till to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple. Finally hike to La Estancia with a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca (1 hour approximately). Overnight at Ecolodge La Estancia, an amazing spot located in the southern part of the Island of the Sun in Lake Titicaca. It was built preserving the Andean architecture and combining with the modern comfort, always respecting the harmony of the surrounding nature and habitat. The cabins were constructed with adobe brick and thatch roofs, and were set between pre-Inca terraces.  [B/L/D]
Day 10: Moon Island – Copacabana – La Paz
DON’T MISS AN EARLY SUNRISE! Hike down through Yumani visiting the Inca stairs and the Water of the Eternal Youth, then have a trip to the Island of the Moon (30 minutes) and the Inca ruins of Iñak Uyu temple to finally reach Copacabana (1:30 hr). Private transportation to La Paz (3:30 hr). Arrival at your hotel. Remaider of the afternoon at Leisure [B/L]
Day 11: La Paz
At agreed time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to your next destination or take an extension to the Uyuni Salt flats. [B]

Day 11: La Paz, Uyuni Salt Flats
In the morning transfer to the airport to board your flight to Uyuni. This journey starts at 10 am, with a visit to the train cemetery with remains of the locomotives of nineteenth and the beginning of twentieth centuries. Next enter the great Uyuni Salt Flats visiting on the road Colchani town, to see a traditional salt processing plant, continue with a stop in Ojos de Agua (the eyes of water), a place where the underground water goes to the surface, in addition to observe the way of salt extraction; later, to Incahuasi Island where the famous giant Cactus are, lunch will be served in the middle of the Salt flats. Later, appreciating the breathtaking sunset at Uyuni Salt flats. [B/L/D]
Day 12 Uyuni Salt Flats
Enjoy a full day excursion to the small village of Tahua, at the foot of Thunupa Volcano. Stroll through the village and hike to the cave of the Coquesa Mummies. Box lunch included. In the afternoon return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at a Salt Hotel at the shores of the Uyuni Salt Lake. [B/BX/D]
Day 13 Uyuni Salt Flats, La Paz, USA
At agreed time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to La Paz with connection to your next destination. [B]
