Day 1: Lisbon

Arrive early morning in Lisbon.  Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour of Lisbon. Lunch at.a local restaurant and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Lisbon. [L/D]

 

Day 2: Lisbon, Fatima

Breakfast at the hotel and departure Panoramic visit of the city of Lisbon to include the old quarters of Alfama, still with traces of the Moorish period, the historic area of Baixa-Chiado (a place full of charm, tradition and modernity), the Praça do Comércio now even more beautiful after restoration works, the area of Belém - worth highlighting the magnificent Jeronimos Monastery, the beautiful Tower of Belém. Lunch in a local restaurant. On the way to Fatima, stop in Santarem to visit the church of the Holy Miracle of the Bleeding Host.  Later in the afternoon, take a brief orientation of the Shrine of Fatima.  In the evening, take part in the Rosary and candlelight procession.  Dinner and overnight in Fatima. Day 3: Fatima, Oporto

After breakfast, participate on the Sanctuary visit or take your time individually. No one remains indifferent to the atmosphere of Fatima. Visit the holy places at the Shrine of Fatima, including the Basilica and the Chapel of the Apparitions (Capelinha).  Continue to Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared in August 1917 after the children were released from prison; Aljustrel, the hamlet where the original homes of the children; the Parish church where the children were baptized and the cemetery. Lunch and then continuation to Oporto, a charming city, located on the slopes of the Douro river already very close to its mouth. Classified as World Heritage by UNESCO due to its beautiful monuments and historic buildings, such as the magnificent Cathedral and the Tower of Clerics, Porto is the second largest city in Portugal and has superb views over the world-famous Port Wine Cellars, on the opposite bank the river in Vila Nova de Gaia. Dinner and overnight in Oporto. [B/L/D]

 

Day 4: Oporto, Braga, Santiago de Compostela

After breakfast, departure to Braga to stroll along the streets of this magnificent city. Before departure, time to discover the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, famous for its imposing staircase. Lunch at a local restaurant. After Lunch we will continue towards SPAIN, on our way to Santiago de Compostela. visit the Cathedral of St James which was built on the very spot where his remains were said to have been found. Enjoy a stroll on own, though the beautiful streets of Santiago de Compostela, the city of the apostle, full of historical buildings and other attractions. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela. [B/L/D]

 

Day 5: Santiago de Compostela, Leon, Burgos

After breakfast, departure to León - a wonderful city, combining stunning historical architecture with an irresistible energy. Its standout attraction is the cathedral (entrance fee not included), one of the most beautiful in Spain. Lunch and then continuation to Burgos with its magnificent cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage). Dinner and accommodation at Burgos. [B/L/D]

 

Day 6: Burgos, San Sebastian, Lourdes

After breakfast, On the way to Lourdes (France), we stop in San Sebastian (Donastia in Basque), known as the Pearl of the Cantabria, panoramic tour.  Continuation to Lourdes, visit the Shrine and take part in the candlelight or take your time individually. Lunch on the way. Dinner and accommodation at Lourdes. [B/L/D]

 

Day 7: Lourdes

Enjoy a walking tour of Lourdes, to visit the places associated with the life of St. Bernadette.  Visit the holy Mill where St. Bernadette was born; the Cachot, formerly used as a jail where she lived at the time of the apparitions; the Parish church where she was baptized.  After lunch, leisure time for private devotions and activities. Take your time to discover this town. In the evening, take part in the Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. [B/L/D]

Day 8: Lourdes, Montserrat, Barcelona

After breakfast, we will return to Spain. Our final destinations is Barcelona, but first we will stop to visit Montserrat, famous for its Monastery and the Basilica of the Black Madonna. We will continue towards Barcelona, arriving on the end of the day. Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight in Barcelona. [B/L/D]

 

Day 9: Barcelona

After breakfast, visit of Barcelona. In the morning, a walk through the Gothic Quarter. In the Plaza Nova, you’ll be able to visit the Cathedral, (be sure not to miss the Gothic cloister!) Known as the capital of modernism, where the famous architect Antonio Gaudi lived and worked. Contemplate his most emblematic works such as Casa Mila, also known as "La Pedrera" and Batlló House in the Paseo de Gracia tour, then see the expiatory church of the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí unfinished masterpiece. Lunch at traditional restaurant. In the afternoon time free for shopping.  Dinner and overnight in Barcelona. [B/L/D]

 

Day 10: Barcelona [Andorra]

In the morning departure to Andorra to a full day of shopping. Return on the end of the day to dinner and overnight in Barcelona. Lunch not included. Dinner and overnight in Barcelona. [B/D]

 

Day 11: Barcelona

Today free time for last minute shopping or relaxing. At the appointed time, transfer to Barcelona’s airport to board your flight back to the USA. [B]
