Day 1 – Sun: Madrid
After clearing customs in Madrid you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and recuperate from the overnight trip. However, if you feel that a busy afternoon is better to pass the time you have the option of our 5-hour afternoon excursion to the magnificent city of Toledo. Overnight at the hotel.

Around 7:30 pm you will be picked-up at  your hotel for a panoramic tour through the lighted streets of the city before arriving at Tablao Flamenco Café de Chinitas, located in the basement of an old and beautiful palace built in the XVI century, where we will attend to a magnificent show of Flamenco songs and dances, while you have your tasty dinner. After the show, return to your hotel. [D]
 
Day 2 – Mon: Madrid
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before starting your visit of Madrid. After an extensive city sightseeing tour, we´ll visit the inside of the impressive Royal Palace, former residence of the Spanish Kings and beautifully furnished and decorated. You will be able to admire the official Reception rooms, the Museum area, the Royal Chapel, the Throne Room and the private rooms of King Carlos III and Queen Isabel II. After the visit you will be just in the center of the city with easy access to restaurants and shops. Those interested in art are less than 10 minutes walking from the Prado Museum or Reina Sofia Museum. Those wanting to visit more of old Madrid may take a leisurely walk to Puerta del Sol and continue to Plaza Mayor, enjoy a drink or lunch at one of the many terraces. The time is yours to use at your content. Overnight at the hotel. [B]
 
Day 3 – Tue: Madrid, Avila, Salamanca, Oporto
Departure from the bus terminal, located in the underground parking of the Plaza de Oriente at 08:30 a.m. Drive westbound towards Avila, a city that preserves its medieval wall. Short stop to know its walled and old town before continuing to Salamanca. Free time in this University City of great architectural and artistic wealth classified as Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Departure to the Portuguese border and continuation to Oporto for accommodation. [B]
 
Day 4 – Wed: Oporto
Breakfast followed by a panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, considered a World Heritage city. We admire the Cathedral, Stock Exchange building and Santa Clara church. In the afternoon, you may take an optional tour to Vila Nova de Gaia to visit a famous winery with tasting of its world-famous “port wine”. Accommodation. [B]
 
Day 5 – Thu: Oporto, Coimbra, Fatima
After breakfast depart to Coimbra a city that is the seat of one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of the romantic “Fado de Coimbra”. Free time before leaving for Fatima a center of the Christian faith and a World Pilgrimage Sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria place where the Virgin Mary appeared, now marked by the Chapel of the Apparitions, heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three shepherds, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. Tonight it is possible to attend the procession of the candles. Accommodation. [B]
 
Day 6 – Fri: Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, Alcobaça, Lisbon
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and leave to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline styles considered a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré and enjoy some free time before we continue to Alcobaça (World Heritage site) to visit the 12-century church and admire the tombs of Pedro and Inés de Castro. After the visit continue to Lisbon for Accommodation. Tonight you may take an optional night tour to attend a show of Fado, typical Portuguese song and music. [B]
 
Day 7 – Sat: Lisbon
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing tour of the ancient Olissipo, drive through its main squares and avenues, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Coach Museum, Monument to the Discoverers, Marquis of Pombal Square, Liberty Avenue. Afternoon at leisure for you to catch the nostalgic corners of Alfama Quarter, the old city gathered next to its Castle, with old buildings nested in narrow twisting “Ruas” full of colour housing the genuine “tabernas” where Fado sounds as a missing past. Accommodation at the hotel. [B]
 
Day 8 – Sun: Lisbon, Caceres, Cordoba
Early breakfast at the hotel as you must be ready at 07:30 am for your departure to Caceres, another World Heritage site because of the city’s blend of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic and Italian Renaissance architectural styles. Walk through its Plaza Mayor and the Old Town with its famous Medieval Quarter. Afterwards, continue towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Moorish Caliphate, for dinner and accommodation at the hotel. [B/D]
 
Day 9 – Mon: Cordoba, Seville
Breakfast at the hotel and start of your tour of the impressive Mosque and other city sites. A stroll through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter will do wonders to ease our mind and spirit. In the afternoon, after a short two-hour ride reach Seville for dinner and accommodation at the hotel. [B/D]
 
Day 10 – Tue: Seville
After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a morning panoramic city tour visiting the exterior of the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter (a natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as the precise place where the myth of “Don Juan” developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at leisure for you to discover exclusive views and specific flavors of this active city full of light. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation. Tonight you may arrange with your guide to attend an optional Flamenco show. [B/D]
 
Day 11 – Wed: Seville, Granada
Breakfast at the hotel before a drive east through the Caliphate road to the heart of Andalusia observing an endless number of olive trees on the way to Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms fallen in 1492. Visit the world famous Alhambra Palace complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by W. Irving. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. You may arrange you're your guide to take an optional Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter. [B/D]
 
Day 12 – Thu: Granada, Valencia
After breakfast at the hotel start driving looking for the Mediterranean coast. Via Murcia, capital of the fertile garden of the Segura river, continue north via Alicante, the second largest city within the region of Valencia. Reach Valencia one of the main capitals of the Mediterranean coast with its modern Arts and Sciences Architectural Complex integrated by six elements: Hemispheric, Umbracle, Science Museum, Oceanographic, Palau de les Arts and Ágora. Valencia is also the home of the internationally well renowned and delicious “Paella”, Accommodation at the hotel. [B]
 
Day 13 – Fri: Valencia, Barcelona
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of this bright city including a drive through the old city showing the most prominent buildings, we will then be driven past the old riverbed of the Turia to the most avant-garde complex “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias” to watch the emblematic exteriors of the six buildings. Early afternoon departure northward all along the Mediterranean coast to Catalunya, via Tarragona, the Roman Tarraco. Reach Barcelona principal Mediterranean city homeland of the famous architect Gaudí symbol of the Catalonian modernism. Accommodation at the hotel. [B]
 
Day 14 – Sat: Barcelona
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour of Barcelona well known world wide for the Olympic Games during 1992, drive along the main avenues with impressive modernist buildings by Gaudí such as La Pedrera, Casa Milá, etc. – declared World Heritage buildings. – The Montjuïc Park with spectacular views of the city, Olympic Ring, monument to Columbus and the Olympic Port. Afternoon is for you to keep on discovering this city full attractive offers as well as exquisite and varied gastronomy. Accommodation at the hotel. [B]
 
Day 15 – Sun: Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel departure southwest along an industrial and agricultural area with certain relevance within Europe. Arrive to Zaragoza, capital city of Aragón, within the banks of Ebro river the most copious within the Iberian Peninsula. Zaragoza, known as Cesar Augusta during the Roman period had an important role in Spanish history. Some free time to see the impressive Baroque architecture of the Basilica-Temple of Our Lady Pilar. Continue to Madrid. [B]
 
Day 15 – Mon: Madrid, USA
Have breakfast at your hotel and be ready for the transfer to Madrid Airport for your flight to the USA. [B]
