Day 1 Sarajevo
Arrival at Sarajevo airport. Meet and greet with the driver and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
 
Day 2 Sarajevo
Breakfast at the hotel and sightseeing of the city with local guide. A city that is etched in the archives of history. Visit to old Baščaršija from the Ottoman times and a part of the town built during Austro-Hungarian rule. Start with Vijećnica (town hall from the 19th century), House of spite, Latin Bridge – the place of assassination of Austro-Hungarian Archduke, Brusa bezistan (covered market), Gazi Husrev Beg mosque and madrasah, the oldest synagogue in Bosnia and Hercegovina, The Sacred Heart Cathedral, Markale market, The Eternal Flame (memorial to the military and civilian victims of WWII), Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and stroll through the streets adorned with nice coffee shops, restaurants and handicraft workshops. Free time. Overnight. [B]
 
Day 3 Sarajevo, Mostar, Medjugorje
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Mostar. Walking tour with local guide. The historical town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. Famous Old bridge of Mostar, a UNESCO heritage site is also considered one of the most exemplary pieces of the Islamic architecture in the Balkans. Free time for lunch and, in the afternoon, drive to Medjugorje for overnight. [B]
 
Day 4 Medjugorje & Apparition Hill
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing of Medjugorje. Located in Bosnia & Herzegovina Medjugorje is the site of the 1981 Marian Apparitions. On June 24th 1981 six children witnessed the Blessed Virgin Mary on what is now known as Apparition Hill. The apparition had a message of peace for the world, as well as a call to conversion, prayer and fasting. She appeared to them with an infant in their arms and confided ten secrets to the children. The children, now adults, some of them which continue to see her every day. Possibility to climb to the Apparition Hill. The apparition hill is where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. At the base of this hill is a Blue Cross, where it is said Our Lady appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the alleged apparitions.  While climbing, your group is invited to recite the Rosary, pausing five times for each decade of the Rosary. At the top of the hill, you will witness the exact location of the first alleged apparition of Our Lady to the visionaries, and enjoy private time for prayer. Overnight. [B]
 
Day 5 Medjugorje & Mount of the Cross
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Križevac - “Mount of the Cross”. It is the highest mountain in the area. In 1933, the parish of St. James erected a large concrete cross to commemorate the 1900th Anniversary of Jesus’ passion and death on the Cross. During construction of the 16-ton cross, the parishioners carried up all of the materials, cement, sand, water, tools, etc., in memory of Christ’s way of the Cross. The cross was completed on March 15, 1934. Free time. Overnight. [B]
 
Day 6 Medjugorje, Kravice, Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Kravice Waterfalls. The sparkling waterfalls of Kravice are among the most fascinating naturalistic features of the Herzegovina region. The waterfall was created by the Trebizat river with its tuff deposits, and has been declared a natural phenomenon which is under state protection. Afterwards drive to Dubrovnik. Overnight. [B]
   
Day 7 Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Old town for a guided walking tour. Dubrovnik’s nickname is
"Pearl of the Adriatic" and is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979. Today Dubrovnik is the proudest feather in Croatia’s tourist cap, an elite destination and one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean. the old city is encompassed by medieval walls, which have been preserved in their original form and opened for visitors as Dubrovnik’s major attraction. Whole city is alive monument and rich treasury of history. Free time. Overnight. [B]

  • Attend Daily Mass: Each morning you can assemble at St. James Church for Mass.
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Our Lady has always called us to be close to her Son. For this, you will have the opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament at the altar outside of St. James Church. Adoration is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays; Veneration of the Cross is held on Fridays inside the church. Additionally, there is an Adoration Chapel on the grounds of St. James Church, where Adoration is held in the afternoon hours.
  • Meetings with the Visionaries: Pending their availability, it’s possible to arrange meetings with the visionaries at their homes.
  • Visit to the Community of Cenacolo: You will have the opportunity to visit the community of Cenacolo, founded by the Sisters of Charity, for young men and women who have taken a wrong path and are on the road to recovery. You will be able to listen to their inspirational words about their journeys back to Jesus Christ.
  • Prayer at the Statue of the Risen Christ: The bronze statue of the Risen Christ is located on the grounds of St. James Church. Many pilgrims sit and pray on the benches surrounding this peaceful statue. This statue miraculously seeps droplets of water at all times of the day, out of Christ's right knee.
